South Australia’s largest and longest floating fundraiser has made it to the halfway point.
Since Sunday 10 November, 34 boats have been tackling a 473-kilometre course from Murray Bridge to Renmark for Novita’s annual Mighty River Run.
So far they have raised more than $320,000 for Novita, a charity supporting kids and young people living with disability.
After assembling at Murray Bridge on Sunday, the five-day adventure began on Monday with the first leg taking the crews to Walker Flat and then Swan Reach.
The Mighty River Run flotilla then visited Morgan and stopped off at the Caudo Vineyard (pictured) and then Waikierie Football Club on Tuesday night for bingo.
The last spots left to visit before arriving in Renmark tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon include Lake Bonney and Berri.
The team is due to reach Renmark on Thursday afternoon.
