The brand new Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club officially opens its doors this Sunday 13 October.
The $3.5 million state-of-the-art purpose-built facility is a big step up from the small shed that has been used for the past decade.
The building has a function space, bar and kitchen, training and recreation areas, an outdoor balcony area and a fully-stocked medical room.
Funding has come in part from Alexandrina Council contributing $500,000, local groups including Goolwa Rotary contributing $30,000 and Surf Life Saving SA’s Club Rebuild Program.
