The fragile Coorong is being showcased in an art exhibition this Spring.
‘First Impressions, Ngarrindjeri Printmaking’ shares a cultural exchange between Adelaide Hills printmaker Jorji Gardener and participants in her workshops including Ngarrindjeri and Coorong artists.
The exhibition explores the environment and fragile existence of coastal life through Ngarrindjeri language and printmaking methodologies.
The exhibition opened on Friday 4 October at the Coorong Gallery at 95-101 Railway Terrace, Tailem Bend, and is open until 29 November 2019 (8.30am to 5pm weekdays).
