The Rural City of Murray Bridge is looking for summer festival volunteers.
As the council gets ready for the 2020 Tour Down Under and Murray River Splash Festival, they are appealing to the community for support.
Volunteer Coordinator Ngareta Cronin said harnessing community spirit would lift the events to a whole new level and the opportunity to be involved with an international event would provide invaluable experience for volunteers.
“We need volunteers to help make Murray Bridge the best it can possibly be during January,” she said.
“We are asking for community volunteers to help us set up and decorate Bridge Street and Sturt Reserve, distribute brochures, welcome visitors and take care of our VIPs.
“Most roles will be required to undertake training in December and January although we are also interested in hearing from people who may be available now.
“Volunteering is a fantastic way to make friends, build networks, learn new skills and, most importantly, have fun.”
