A feast for the eyes in the Adelaide Hills this weekend with the Hahndorf Winter Lantern Festival for all to enjoy.
Local school children and artists have been busily designing and making lanterns for the event over the past seven weeks.
The opening night commences Friday 23 August from 7pm with a cello concert by Heysen Ensemble and Friends at Memorial Hall.
The festival day and parade takes place from late afternoon to the evening on Saturday 24 August, culminating in a lantern procession and a fire mural which is set to light up the night sky.
