A child and two teenagers from Strathalbyn are due to face court over a string of break ins in the Hills Fleurieu region.

After several reports of burglaries in Milang and Strathalbyn on Friday 16 August, police allege they caught two youths in the midst of another break-in who then fled on a stolen quad bike.

A short time later police received reports of youths acting suspiciously in the Milang area.

After a four hour search in paddocks and scrubland, an 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy were arrested and further enquiries led police to report a 15-year-old girl for Aggravated Serious Criminal Trespass.

The 13-year-old has been refused bail as he allegedly removed his home detention monitoring bracelet before the incidents.
