Victor Harbor is embracing the local art scene with promises to invest in murals and a street party.
Business Victor Harbor has proposed a part on Ocean Street following the competition of stage two of the Mainstreet Precinct Masterplan, as well as pitching a mural on the Telstra building and National Pharmacy walkway.
Councillors have agreed to set aside $7,500 for the party and up to $5,000 for the two murals.
Meanwhile the Coral Street Art Space has been opened in time for the SALA Festival with an exhibition showcasing the work of local artists, and at the front of Government House a local sculpture artist Margaret Worth has completed her installation.
