Power tools have been stolen from a ute in the Murray Mallee region, following a string of similar thefts in recent months.

Police are appealing to the public for help tracking down thieves after  Milwaukee and DeWalt power drills were stolen out of a ute parked on Railway Terrace in Lameroo on Sunday 11 August overnight.

It follows numerous instances of break-ins to sheds and businesses over the past few months across the region with drills, grinders, compressors and chainsaws stolen amongst other items.

Police are unsure whether there are links between the cases.

If anyone has any information on this or other thefts in the region, or knows the whereabouts of the stolen goods, call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at http://crimestopperssa.com.au.
