The Middleton Cockle Train will be back up and running on Sunday following upgrades to the deteriorating railway bridge.
The railway bridge was last upgraded in 1926, about 70 years after it was originally built.
Thanks to a $200,000 Federal Government Grant, operator SteamRanger Heritage Railway has been able to fix the iconic tourist attraction.
Each year upwards of 30,000 local and international passengers take the trip over Middleton Creek, between the Historic Mill and Caravan Park.
