Hills Roads Get Much Needed Upgrades

The Federal Government’s Road to Recovery Grants Program will see two prominent Adelaide Hills roads receive much needed upgrades.

Springs Rd in Mt Barker which runs alongside the Laratinga Wetlands and to the Mt Barker Homemaker Centre, will be widened with $665,000 from the Government and $335,000 from the Mt Barker Council.

Swamp Rd in Lenswood, which has seen an increase in heavy vehicle traffic, will see a $420,000 grant met by $182,000 in council funding to resurface the road to better accommodate regular use by trucks.
