If you want to be more involved in shaping the city of Victor Harbor, the council would like to speak to you.
They’re inviting people to get involved in several committees that will cover areas including Economic Development and Tourism, Disability Access, Sport and Recreations, Boating Access and Heritage matters.
City of Victor Harbor Mayor Graham Philp said the committees are a valuable resource for the Council to
draw on to support its decision making.
“Our Section 41 Committees are a great way for Council to capitalise on the diverse skills and knowledge on offer within our community,” said Mayor Philp.
“Being a member of a council committee is a rewarding experience, and something I encourage people to seriously consider.”
The committees are made up of both elected members and community representatives.
Nomination forms can be found here, applications close next Friday August 18.
