It’s been a wet and wild night across SA with the Adelaide Hills copping a soaking.

Overnight the Mt Lofty Ranges received between 20mm and 30mm on average, with Verdun scoring 42mm and Lobethal 49mm.

It was windy at Strathalbyn which was rocked by gusts of up to 70km an hour, Mt Crawford slightly higher with gusts of up to 82km an hour early this morning.

The wet and windy conditions caused by a low pressure system passing just south of the state will continue today, easing overnight to a much milder day on Wednesday.
