A woman from Murray Bridge has been arrested for allegedly assisting an offender in a murder.
Just after 2am on Monday April 25, a 25-year-old Victorian man was found lying on the road at the the intersection of North Terrace and George Street, with multiple stab wounds to his chest. He died at the scene.
Following an investigation, police arrested and charged two suspects with murder, a 17-year-old boy and a 21 year-old man from Victoria. The youth has since been charged as an adult and they will both next appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 14 December, 2022.
On Friday 29 July, Major Crime detectives arrested a 19-year-old Murray Bridge woman and charged her with assisting an offender.
She has been bailed ahead of an October 12 court date.
Investigations are continuing and police have not ruled out further arrests in relation to this matter.
