South Australia's major emergency declaration has come to an end.
Premier Peter Malinauskas announced the news on Tuesday, signalling a shift in how SA will deal with the Covid pandemic going forward.
Under new laws which passed State Parliament last week, responsibility will now pass from the State Co-ordinator Grant Stevens (pictured) to Cabinet.
The mask mandate is also ending for schools. From Monday 30 June, masks will only be required if a class reports 10 or more cases, or if a school has five classes with five cases or more in a week.
