Opportunistic thieves have been at it again in the Adelaide Hills.
A number of alerts have been issued in recent weeks about thefts from cars around the region; this time in Mount Barker.
At the weekend several cars were broken into, some valuables were taken and some cars were damaged.
A locked vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Thompson Court was broken into and scratched between 7pm on Friday 20 May and 11am on Saturday 21 May. Two fuel cards were taken, along with sports equipment, a cello and scooter.
Around 4.20am on Saturday 21 May, a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Silverwood Drive was also broken into. The car window was smashed and a Milwaukee tool bag and tools were stolen from inside.
Between Friday night and Saturday morning, three other cars were interfered with at Jacobs Crescent, Davis Court and Silverwood Drive.
