The Monarto Safari Park has announced the perfect health of two of its newest additions.
Nine-year-old cheetah Kesho’s two young cubs were checked up for the first time, revealing both a boy and a girl in great early shape.
They also received their vaccinations, microchips, a worming tablet, had photos taken of their unique tail markings, and had their eyesight checked.
Assistant Curator Carnivores and Ungulates, Anna Bennett, said the duo are progressing well.
“The cubs have been staying close to mum but they’ve been very playful and exploring outside the den,” she said.
“They are in really good health and we’re looking forward to seeing them out on exhibit soon.
The new cubs will be on exhibition when they reach their four-month milestones in six weeks time.
