Suspicious Car and House Fires in Murray Bridge

Police are appealing for witnesses to two suspicious fires in Murray Bridge.

Just after 9am Sunday 13 June, firecrews and police were called to a home on Railway Terrace after reports that the unoccupied house was on fire.

Crime Scene Investigators determined that it had been deliberately lit with an accelerant.

In a seperate incident, a Holden sedan that police say was stolen from the front yard of a home on Lorikeet Street after 7pm Thursday 10 June, was discovered torched at 3am Friday with burnout marks on the roadway near where it was recovered.
