Local Tourism operators may soon see an influx of New Zealand visitors, with news this week of the establishment of an Australian/New Zealand travel Bubble.

Data collected in 2019 shows that New Zealand Travellers were almost the largest overseas market for the Murray River, Lakes & Coorong region making up 14% of all overseas travellers.

While a similar story was reported in the Adelaide Hills, with 14% of travellers in 2019 coming from New Zealand.

Quarantine free travel between Australia and New Zealand is set to commence later this month.
