A woman whose car was completed destroyed in a crash has astonishingly escaped serious injury.

Emergency services were called to Inman Valley Road, north west of Victor Harbor, just before 3pm on Wednesday 31 March 2021.

It is believed that the Christie Downs woman, 37, lost lost control of her Ford, clipped a car, rolled and crashed into a tree.

She was trapped in the upturned car for some time before being cut out by emergency service workers and flown to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Inman Valley Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
