Dates have been announced for the upcoming Fire Danger season in the Murraylands and Lower and Upper South East.

Mild conditions and rainfall have allowed the season to start on time this year.

The Murraylands and Upper South East season runs from November 15 2020 to April 15 2021, and the Lower South East dates are December 1 2020 until April 30 2021.

During this time, restrictions in the districts will become legally enforceable, including the banning of burn-offs and rubbish fires and the sparking of fires at National Park Reserves (with some exceptions).

You can find out exactly what you can and can’t do during Fire Danger season on the CFS website or via the Bushfire Information Hotline 1800 362 361.

The Mount Lofty Ranges, Adelaide Metropolitan and Kangaroo Island dates are yet to be confirmed and will be announced soon.
