A tourism hub with a difference has been pitched for the Adelaide Hills.
SA biological fertiliser company Neutrog Australia plans to convert former mining silos at its Kanmantoo factory into a nine-story visitor centre by 2023.
The company that has "embraced the bugs and turned chicken poo into a micro-biotic wonderland" has been working on plans for decades.
Managing Director Angus Irwin said he is hoping the venture would help educate the wider public on soil health and the fascinating process of using bugs to brew bacteria.
