South Australia’s best tourism towns have been revealed in the 2023 South Australian Top Tourism Town Awards overnight.
Victor Harbor has taken out the main honor by the Tourism Industry Council South Australia (TiCSA), winning both the 2023 SA Top Tourism Town Award and People’s Choice Award.
Coober Pedy received the 2023 SA Small Tourism Town Award, while the Yorke Peninsula town of Port Broughton was named the 2023 SA Tiny Tourism Town. The three will go on to represent South Australia Nationally later this year.
The Top Tourism Town Awards celebrate towns that provide incredible visitor experiences while demonstrating a shared commitment to developing tourism in their respective regions.
There has been a significant Federal, State and local investment in the Fleurieu Peninsula town of Victor Harbor in recent years, including a new Granite Island Causeway, redeveloped streetscapes, a new Visitor Information and Whale Centre and an investment in arts and festivals.
