Update – Thursday: Police are continuing their search for missing Mypolonga man Steven within the Ngarkart Conservation Park.
Steven, 62, was last physically seen leaving his Lobethal workplace about 3pm on Friday 28 February however his gold Hyundai Elantra was located abandoned on the West Boundary Track, Ngarkat Conservation Park on Sunday.
Murray Mallee police with the assistance of Star Group officers, Mounted Operations Unit, PolAir and local SES crews have spent the last few days conducting an extensive search of the Ngarkart Conservation Park.
SES have assisted police with thermal imaging devices and drones to search several square kilometres of scrub so far.
The ground search has concluded for this evening (Wednesday 5 March) and will recommence on Thursday morning.
