A truck driver is fortunate to have escaped serious injury, after his truck rolled over on the South Eastern Freeway yesterday morning in White Hill.
Emergency services responded to a truck rollover near the Pope Road Bridge, on the eastern carriageway just after 9am, with the driver managing to exit the truck on their own accord.
They were taken to hospital via ambulance as a precaution.
Diversions were put in place for motorists via the Monarto exit to travel along Old Princes Highway into Murray Bridge, with restrictions in place for approximately five hours.
The accident reinforced police’s calls for drivers to respect the extreme weather conditions, with a teenager tragically dying in a car rollover in Second Valley a few hours later.
