Noarlunga are back to being champions in the Great Southern Cricket Association, and the grand finals in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills and Hills Cricket Associations are now set following two preliminary final blow-outs. Catch up on all the action here:

Noarlunga have capped off a dominant Great Southern campaign with a flag, beating Port Elliot on first innings yesterday.

The Shoes bowled Port Elliot out for just 87 on Saturday, with Sean Williams and Jett Holberton taking four wickets each, helping Noarlunga to wrap up the chase quickly yesterday to start the celebrations early.

It’s Noarlunga’s second title in three years while the heartbreak continues for Port Elliot, who have now lost three grand finals in a row.

Lobethal will next week have their chance to complete their chase for four straight flags, after they comfortably accounted for rivals Langhorne Creek in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills prelim final on Saturday. 

The defending champions posted 208 in their innings thanks to half centuries from Mitch Weeks, Lachy Bates and Sam Graeber, who then also took three wickets of his own to help hold Langhorne Creek to 142.

The Tigers will battle Hahndorf in next week’s grand final, with the Magpies chasing their first flag in five years. 

HILLS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecard here)

Scott Creek Ironbank have sent a statement in their prelim final win over minor premier Mount Lofty, winning by six wickets to give themselves the opportunity to defend their Hills Cricket Association title next week.

Saturday’s prelim was one-sided as the Bankers advanced, bowling the Redcaps out for just 81 before carefully chasing it down thanks to an unbeaten 45 from Aaron Thompson.

The Bankers will now face Stirling in the grand final, with Stirling also looking for their third title for four years.
