A man has died after a crash at Sellicks Beach.
Just before 4.15pm Monday 17 July emergency services were called to the intersection of Main South Road and Country Road after reports of a crash between a car and a motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 43-year-old Mount Barker man died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz station wagon, a 35-year-old Moana woman was not injured but was taken to Noarlunga Hospital as a precaution.
Major Crash officers attended the scene to examine the circumstances of the collision.
Roads were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
The man’s death is the 67th life lost on SA roads this year, compared to 40 at this time last year.
