A man from Echunga has died following a crash in his home town this week.
About 2.30pm on Monday 18 March, emergency services were called to Battunga Road after a Kia that had been travelling south lost control and crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 62-year-old local man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and last night (Tuesday 19 March), he died in hospital.

Major Crash officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man is the 18th Life Lost on SA roads this year.
