SAPol’s Serious and Organised Crime Branch, Australian Federal Police, NSW Police and uniform patrols from the Murray Mallee Local Service Area all worked together on the bust.

The man has been charged with traffic large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

Detective Superintendent Shane Addison, Officer in Charge of Serious and Organised Crime Branch says it’s a great example of cooperation across law enforcement.

“This is an example of SAPOL commitment to working cooperatively and in collaboration with our partner law enforcement agencies to identify and disrupt the illicit trade, which causes serious harm to the community. This operation has prevented a significant quantity of methamphetamine from being distributed into the South Australian community where it would have caused further harm and distress”.
