The future of workers at Beston Global Food Company has been cast further into doubt, after the sale of the Jervois operations fell through.
Japanese company Megmilk Snow Brands, who currently own Udder Delights in the Adelaide Hills, backed out off a deal to acquire the Jervois site on Friday, prompting Beston’s to enter voluntary administration following years of losses due to increased operating costs.
It’s estimated around 300 jobs are at risk, with administrators KPMG now underway in their efforts to save the business.

Bestons will continue its operations in Murray Bridge and Jervois in the meantime.
