Police have arrested two men following a serious assault in Murray Bridge earlier this month.
Shortly before midday on Tuesday 6 May, police and emergency services were called to Neumann Avenue in relation to an assault.
Upon arrival police located a 34-year-old local man who had an injury to the back of his head.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital where he was treated.
Local forensic officers attended the scene and conducted an examination.
Following an investigation, on Friday 9 May, police arrested an 18-year-old man and a 33-year-old man both from Murray Bridge.
Both men were charged with assault that causes harm.
They were refused police bail and appeared in Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 10 May where they were remanded in custody.
