Beat the Blues
Sun 15 Mar 2020
"BEAT THE BLUES" is a community event to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention.
Coordinated by the Strathalbyn & Communities Suicide Prevention Network, BEAT THE BLUES is an event which showcases community participation and engagement as a means to stay mentally healthy and fit.
Many community clubs and groups will be on site promoting the unique manner in which people can improve mental health and wellbeing by participating in their group or club. Local children will be presenting art works, and the judges will be local Members of Parliament.
There will be local artists performing and some food and drink stalls.
All of this fun will coincide with the arrival of more than 200 motorcycles as the Black Dog Riders will arrive in Strathalbyn at the end of their 1 Dayer ride.
