Based at Mannum, Mid Murray Support Service Inc. (MMSS) is looking for a motivated and
inspirational leader with exceptional sales and merchandising skills and experience.
MMSS plans to expand its current small volunteer run opportunity shop ‘Scrooges’ into a
more sustainable income stream as part of the organisations longer term Social Enterprise
strategy.
Purpose of the position
This role will focus on transforming the Social Enterprise from a small volunteer run OpShop to an amazing, results driven business.
If retail is second in nature to you, you have a history of great visual merchandising skills

The successful applicant must have great communication skills and aptitude to working as
part of a team that is consumer service focused.

Skill Required

Your specific responsibilities will include:
• Consistent and regular consultation with the MMSS Coordinator.
• Financial Management in line with the organisations long term plans including
proposal of annual budgets in conjunction with MMSS Coordinator and have
experience with sales targets
• General Day to Day operations
• Ensure store is presentable, inclusive of customer service and adequate stock levels
• Understand trends, sales pricing and merchandising
• Use intermediate computer literacy skills (Microsoft Suite), Social Media and modern
store technology experience
