The Accounts Payable Officer will maintain current accounts, assist in invoicing functions and provide administrative support to the wider team. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can analyse expense reports, maintain accurate data while nurturing positive relationships.

Your responsibilities (not limited to):
• Provide information, advice and assistance to customers as required
• Maintain and update daily Outlook calendar
• Provide assistance to the Finance Director as directed
• Advanced data entry in MYOB
• Accounts Payable Entry, payment and reconciliation of creditors
• Perform set daily administrative tasks and office functions to ensure the business operates effectively and efficiently
• Cash handling, banking, funds transfers between entities as directed
• First point of contact with Debtors chasing payment of invoices
• Printing Weekly Reports – Debtors / Creditors / Work in Progress
• Cash Flows Fortnightly subject to review by Manager or Director
• Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations
• Support the month end process by providing supporting documentation for month end journals
• Any other duties as required/directed

Skill Required

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages
• Ability work as part of a broader team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and multitask
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records
