National Walk Safely to School Day, Friday May 19

Aussie kids are flunking out as far as physical activity goes, being given a big fat D- behind their international peers  .

Infact, only 19% of 5-17 year olds have been meeting the National Physical Activity Guidelines that reccommends 60 minutes of heart pumping exercise a day.

So this Friday, May 19, parents are being encouraged to walk their kids to school as part of National Walk Safely to School Day.

The aim is to encourage our kids to lead healthier, more active lifestyles!
